TSYS Total Solutions® Receives Industry Recognition
Garners Impressive Position on Credit Card Management's Annual Listing
Columbus, Ga., July 22, 1999 –TSYS Total Solutions® (Total Solutions®), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Total System Services, Inc.® today announced its number two ranking on Credit Card Management (CCM) magazine's annual list of financial services telemarketing companies in the United States. The July 1999 issue of CCM compares 1998 year-end data to 1997 year-end data to determine the listing of inbound and outbound telemarketers based on call volumes.

With its increased focus on technology and service, Total Solutions secured the number two spot, up from number three the previous year, from a field of 43 inbound telemarketers. Total Solutions also moved to number nine from the previous year's ranking of 28 on the magazine's list of outbound telemarketers.
In 1998, Total Solutions spent more than one million hours placing calls on behalf of card-issuing clients and received more than 15 million inbound calls. Total Solutions also acquired the facilities management and portfolio management services of Partnership Card Services enabling them to offer credit, collections and customer support in addition to its acquisition mailing, application processing, direct mail, correspondence fulfillment and other mailing services.
