First Tennessee Extends Contract With TSYS for Card Processing
TSYS Client Extends to 2005
Columbus, Ga., January 19, 2000 -- Total System Services, Inc,® (TSYS®) (NYSE: "TSS") today announced a five-year extension to their processing agreement with First Tennessee Bank, N.A. to provide its consumer credit card processing. TSYS has processed the First Tennessee portfolio since 1995.
First Tennessee's portfolio represents approximately 1.4 million consumer cardholder accounts, including credit and debit cards. Faulkner & Gray’s 2000 Card Industry Directory also ranked First Tennessee number 12 among merchant acquirers in terms of dollar volume.
