TSYS Names Allmond as COO of Columbus Productions, Inc.
Columbus, Ga., Nov. 17, 2000 - Gracie H. Allmond, a 23-year veteran in financial management and procurement, has been named the chief operating officer for Columbus Productions, Inc., the full-service commercial printing subsidiary of Total System Services, Inc. (TSYS®).
Allmond's promotion is effective immediately. In her new position, Allmond will be responsible for supervising all daily operating functions at Columbus Productions. She has most recently served as vice president and director of materials management for TSYS, managing such functions as paper and plastic procurement, inventory control, creative design, sales and training, supplier quality, recycling and supplier diversity initiatives.
"Gracie's leadership and extensive experience in printing, procurement and design will be valuable additions to our team at Columbus Productions," said James B. Lipham, chief financial officer for TSYS. "Gracie has served some of our largest clients in these areas for many years. She will play a key role in continuing to develop Columbus Productions as a leading commercial printer and providing premium service to TSYS customers."
Allmond, who attended Columbus State University, joined Columbus Bank and Trust Company (CB&T) in 1977. In her 23-year career, she has served in various roles with CB&T and moved to TSYS in 1983. Since that time she has held various management positions within the materials management group at TSYS.
Allmond is a member of the National Association of Purchasing Management, and and a graduate of the American Banking Association's School of Bank Card Management at the University of Oklahoma. As an active community volunteer, Allmond has represented TSYS as a loaned executive for United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley, worked with the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and currently serves as a member of the executive board for Girls Inc.
