Vital Extends Contract With First Hawaiian Bank to Provide POS Equipment and Related Services
Tempe, Ariz., November 28, 2001 - Vital Processing Services® (Vital®), a recognized leader in technology-based commerce enabling services, today announced the extension of its contract with Honolulu-based First Hawaiian Bank, a subsidiary of BancWest Corporation (NYSE: BWE), to include POS equipment and related services for the bank's 6,500 merchant customers located in Hawaii and Guam. Vital has provided merchant processing services to First Hawaiian for more than 10 years.
Vital Merchant Services, a leader in terminal management and point-of-sale (POS) support services and wholly owned subsidiary of Vital Processing Services®, will provide the terminal management services.
