Visa USA Executives Named to Vital Board of Directors
Tempe, Ariz. – June 17, 2004 – Vital Processing Services® (Vital®),a recognized leader in technology-based commerce enabling services and an independent joint venture of Visa® USA and TSYS, today announced that Visa USA executives Elizabeth L. Buse and Kevin J. Schultz have joined Vital's Board of Directors. Buse and Schultz join TSYS chief executive officer Phillip W. Tomlinson, and senior executive vice president and chief financial officer James B. Lipham as members of Vital's Board.
Elizabeth Buse is executive vice president of product development and management for Visa USA, and is responsible for managing all Visa-branded products and services. Kevin Schultz is executive vice president of sales and integrated solutions for Visa USA, and is responsible for managing Visa's member relationship and merchant sales teams. Buse and Schultz will represent Visa on the Vital Board to assure close alignment between the two organizations and to support Vital's customer focus and growth objectives.
