TSYS Appoints Director for Central and Eastern Europe

York, England, Mar. 8, 2007 — TSYS Europe has appointed Ralf Mueller, a veteran of the European payments industry, as director of business development for Central and Eastern Europe. He will be based in Munich, Germany.

During his 14-year career, Mr. Mueller has held several high-level sales and marketing positions for companies in Germany. Most recently, he was in charge of national and international sales for EL-ME AG, a manufacturer of point-of-sale terminals.

Before EL-ME AG, Mr. Mueller served as director of cards and payments of HypoVereinsbank AG in Germany. During his time there, he was responsible for debit and credit operations, new product launches and coordination of card activities across an Eastern European network.

A native German, Mr. Mueller resides in Munich. He earned degrees in economics and mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt in 1992. Mr. Mueller also attended Visa Bankcard Business School in 1993, and completed Kaufhof management training in 1999.
