TSYS to Sponsor Lafferty Cards Asia Conference

Columbus, Ga. and London, November 5, 2008 — TSYS, a leading global payment services provider, announced today that it will sponsor the Lafferty Cards Asia Conference taking place on 6-7 November 2008 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. The two-day event will bring together leading industry professionals to discuss developments in the Asian cards and payments sector.

Mr. David E. Duncan, managing director of TSYS Asia-Pacific, will participate in two panel discussions during the conference, titled "Re-inventing cards in Asia – Profit from a fast evolving environment" and "Cards & Payments in Asia Pacific – The next ten years."

Duncan was appointed managing director of TSYS Asia-Pacific in September 2006 and currently oversees all operations across TSYS offices in Shanghai and Kuala Lumpur. In his tenure at TSYS, Duncan has been instrumental in establishing TSYS Japan and has worked closely with the company's merchant-acquiring joint venture in Japan, GP Network Corp. He has also directed the company's efforts in China, helping to form a joint venture with China's largest bankcard processor, China UnionPay Data Services Co., Ltd, where he now serves on the board of directors.
